first day of school

After a lot of thought we decided to go ahead and put Cole into Kindergarten. It was seriously so hard to come to a solid conclusion. I thought about it so much this summer. I told myself if he passed the early entrance exam then that shows he is ready. Well he passed it for gilbert and higley school districts and I still wasn't sure. Gilbert had half day so I thought that would be perfect for him, but honestly everytime I drove there to drop off papers etc. the drive felt so loooong. I knew I would not stay sane dropping him off 12:30 and picking him up everyday 3:30, plus what would Sharlie do after school? So we finally decided to just put him in all day at Sharlie's school. I though he would come home exhausted the first few days, but somehow I feel like he has even more energy. We will see how he's doing in a month or two. Well I'm sad that he is gone all day and I miss him, but I really feel like it is what he needs. Sharlie is so excited to be back at the same school with all her little buddies again. She keeps saying that she knows so many people. So far her teacher seems great! Everyday she is coming home singing a new song or telling us about a new game. I miss summer, but love the structure the school year brings!
