I know you

So I recently read an article or blog post or something { I can't keep track between pinterest, facebook and blogs!} about this mother knowing her daughter. She talked about how the world would try to mold her daughter to fit into a neat little box. It really made me think about my realtionship with Sharlie. Do I try to make her a certain way? I have caught myself trying to get her to like certain things instead of letting her decide on her own. Overall though I think that I do know my Sharlie girl and I do let her be who she really is. I even bought her a pair of boy pjs b/c they had sea creatures that resembled the Octonauts on them. Latley she has had a thing for robots and even said she wanted to be one for Halloween. If we didn't live in such a crazy hilly area with stairs to every door, then maybe a bulky robot costume would work. So I settled on getting her a robot necklace. One thing I love about her age is how she doesn't care what others think. She likes what she likes even if other kids don't. Sharlie really is one of a kind! It is going to be fun to watch Sharlie become her own little person. I just hope she always stays true to herself no matter what other people think.
