Fireflies

Saying we like or enjoy fireflies is a little bit of an understatement. Sharlie is seriously obsessed! Every night she wants to stay up to see them . She now has Cole asking to see them every night too. Cole even asks me during the day! ha ha. Cole will not hold them though. We put one on his hand and his shook it right off!
I think one of my favorite memories of living out here will be watching the fireflies with my family. They make summer nights feel magical. I just love how much joy and excitment they bring the kids. Not to mention Sharlie is amazing at catching them! She has this wierd technique where she just puts her arm or hand out and they come land on her. She is also very persistant. If she sees a firefly she will follow it and follow it until she gets it.
