Here is a little bit about eggshelland....
Every year since 1957, Ron and Betty Manolio create an eggshell display on the lawn of their Lyndhurst home. The Manolio’s spend the year creating a plan on graph paper and painting any extra eggshells for the huge display that includes cartoons, secular Easter bunnies and religious images – all made from hand-painted eggshells.What began with 750 hand-painted eggshells has grown to a display of over 40,000 shells.
Mr. Fredricksen, Kevin, Russell, Doug and the house { I love how Doug is sticking his tongue out, Russell has his merit badges and the yellow door knob.}
Here are some pictures of the eggshellands from years past. Pretty crazy huh!
I wonder if the whole neighborhood carefully hollows out their eggs to donate to this project. Seriously 40,000 eggs, that's a lot of eggs.
Do you kind of want to jump on it?!

We loved this place--and just wish we had found it before last year--they've had some incredible designs over the years!
I think that the displays look awesome maybe I should do that here? I could make a Swedish Chef display for Beeg out of eggs!
What an awesome place! I am afraid my little rowdies would have destroyed it though. LOL Seriously, what an incredible thing to do.
Oh Randy, I laughed out loud when I read your blog. I saw an article on this on the yahoo news home page and thought, "I wonder where those people even live?" Glad you had fun!
Crazy!
