Coles milestone

Cole is now 6 1/2 months! Sometimes I feel like I am still getting use to the idea of having two kids. Sometimes I still can't believe I am a mom at all. Weird how you think about kids and marriage when you are younger and it seems sooo far away! Other times it feels like I have always been a mom and that Cole has been in our family from the start. This little guy is such a happy boy! Really he is smiling and laughing all the time. He loves his exersaucer { first thing he does is instantly try to rip the flower out} Cole is also a very hungry baby. He still has nights here and there where he'll wake up at 3:30 thinking its time to eat { even though he had plenty to eat before he went to bed}. We love how chunky and round Cole is. It is so hard not to squeeze and kiss him all the time. Everyone always wants to grab his chubby little legs and forearms.
His latest accomplishment is sitting up on his own {started this a little before 6 months}. Now he is always rocking his body back and forth and trying to get up on his knees. He loves getting tossed in the air and being held upside down. He does not like to cuddle, but he loves to be tickled. He is constantly trying to suck his thumb, but I don't let him. He loves cereal, but still makes crazy faces when he eats some of his fruits and vegetables. I can't tell what color his eyes are. Sometimes they look green with a hint of blue, other times they look brown, who knows.
I feel extremely blessed to have such a fun, happy, good little boy.




Sadly yes there have been days cold enough to wear hats. Will spring ever spring and stay?
