"puMpKin PaTch"???

Yesterday the weather was so beautiful that we (okay I) decided that we should go to a pumpkin patch. Beegh has test coming up again so I figured this would be the perfect weekend.
So I picked this pumpkin patch b/c on its website it said " tour the great pumpkin patch" "harvest your own pumpkin". So I'm thinking-wow we get to pick our own pumpkins from the patch, how cool.
We get there and at the front here are the pumpkins we see....

So I was thinking dang their patch has to be pretty big etc. etc. I'm totally imagining this really neat pumpkin patch. Especially b/c we are in Ohio.
This was the pumpkin patch....
Oh yeah right, you've GOT to be kidding me! They don't even grow pumpkin there. Some dude loads up his tractor and just set little (look how small!) pumpkins out in this field. I was so disappointed, the website was so misleading! I don't think we are going to be going to any pumpkin patches until Sharlie is older, or if someone else already went and they know its a good one!
We tried to make the best of it. I took lots of pictures of the pretty leaves to make myself feel a little better. At least it was a nice day to be out.

I love the bright blue sky! Something I've really learned to appreciate in Ohio.

That is SO lame! We never go to pick them, we just go for the fun stuff, so I can't say I know of any realy patches. But I KNOW they are around!

What a bummer! There is nothing like a good old pumpkin patch in October.
