Sharlies baking birthday party

Sharlie has said for a while that she wants to be a "cooker" when she grows up. So this year we decided to throw her a baking party.

The first thing the kids did was decorate their chef hats. The letters weren't sticking really well so we had to bust out the packing tape! Hey whatever works.
Next they made pizzas
Beegh got in on the pizza making too! Haha
Next we played the present game. This was my favorite as a kid.
Their prizes from the game
Classic, musical chairs {we thought Sugar was a good song for a baking party!}

fruit kabobs
Sharlie was seriously so happy. Just laughing and being extra silly.
After pizza we played a taste testing game. I told them how a chef has to have a good palette etc. I was surprised at how willing they all were to participate! I didn't get any pictures, but I wish I would have captured some of their reactions to the different food.
Next it was time to decorate the cupcakes
They all came up with some really creative combinations. They each got a little cupcake box to take home.
Next we sang happy birthday {always Sharlies favorite}
Lastly she opened presents. So much excitement!
Well once again I can't believe my little girl is another year older! This last year really did fly by!
I love watching this girl learn and grow! I am lucky to be her mom! Happy Birthday Sharlie!
