So I was looking back through my blog and I realized that I didn't even blog about two trips I went on last year. The first was to NYC! I must have been really sick to not blog about that! I have wanted to go to NYC my whole life and I finally got to go!! I did post some pictures on facebook, but I never wrote about it! That was in April and then in July we went to Arizona and California. So first NYC...
It started off with the idea that us girls should do something fun before a few of them graduated. At first we thought a night at a hotel could be fun, but then my friend Jamie was like why don't we go all out and try to go to New York. Anyway the stars aligned and it somehow all worked out! Jamie was able to drive and we got to stay with my good friend Caysie's brother-in-law and his wife { seriously the nicest people I've ever met}. The best was that my friend Caysie came too and I got to see her cute little boy!! We had such a great time! We ate at some delicious places, my favorite was the shake shack and Grimaldis oh and the amazing chocolate chip cookies from Levain bakery!
We were only there for 3 days so we had to cram in as much as we could. We saw the Newsies! It was awesome! Our seats were amazing, like fourth row dead center! One of my favorite tourist spots was the 911 memorial. It was neat to go from the crazy busy city to the calm quiet memorial. We went to Chelsea market, the Brooklyn bridge, walked the high line, danced on the FAO Schwarz piano, went to Rockefeller plaza, central park and of course time square! It was so fun to finally go and see if NYC was all I thought it would be!
