White Christmas, sort of

Well we didn't actually get snow on Christmas day, but it snowed a few days before and a bunch of days after. So it was just a white christmas time, not a white Christmas day. We missed seeing family, but it was nice to not travel and enjoy our own little Christmas. I love the age our kids are at, they just make Christmas feel magical . Sharlie told me she heard reindeer on the roof and she was so excited that Santa ate the cookies! Cole was just as happy as could be with a tube of jelly beans, seriously he would have stopped opening present right then and there! He wasn't feeling great so that was no good, but after a little nap he was all excited to play with his new toys. I love the whole week after Christmas, when your kids are just in their own little world playing with their new toys! It's perfect timing since we have had so much snow lately. We have had a lot of fun playing in the snow, but you can only be out there for so long!

You really have such a talent with photography. Gorgeous photo's around the tree.

And i love the gingerbread houses! I love the idea of the adults actually doing them.
How come the kids always have all the fun ;)
