D.C.

Last weekend we went with our friends the Farr's to D.C. I love that it is only a 3 1/2 hour drive. We had a great time going to the temple, seeing some sights and eating delicious food! Seriously Cafe Rio hit the spot! D.C. is such a cool city, I am glad we got to see all of it when we didn't have kids. Adding kids to the trip makes it so different, it is not a kid friendly place. They did love riding the " train" though which to me was the craziest part! Thank you Farr's for inviting us, can't wait to go again!

The drive was gorgeous. I kept trying to capture it, but no picture from the car could do it justice. Oh and how could I forget about our crazy drive home. It was totally pouring and a car hydroplaned right infront of us { like 5 ft. ahead} we were lucky that as the car hydroplaned it kept moving forward otherwise we would have ran right into them. I was so proud of my Beegh and his driving skills and so thankful he kept us safe. I was turned around giving Cole a blanket and Beegh calmly says Randee there is a car hydroplaning right infront of us. To turn around and see the car just spinning and spinning was crazy looking! We decided the lord protected us since we just went to the temple!
