Christmas card progress

Every year I always regret not sending out Christmas cards. I haven't ever sent them out b/c we were always traveling for the holidays and things were pretty hectic {really driving across the country with two kids is quite an ordeal}. I told myself that this yr. since we are staying here I was going to do it. After talking to a friend of mine about how much it cost etc. etc., I once again decided not to send out cards. I do love getting physical cards from friends though {they are so fun to display}, but I feel bad b/c I didn't send any cards out. So this post is a reminder to myself that no matter what I am sending out Christmas cards next year!
As you can see we did get family pictures taken and I at least made a digital card. I am slowly getting there. :)
Anyway I hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday season!

What are your thoughts on Christmas cards? Worth it or not?

There are SO MANY companies that do SUPER cheap cards at Christmas. I got some last year (like 100) that cost me just over $5. The biggest cost factor is postage (darn postage!) We sent out graduation announcements and we moved cards in May, so I opted to not send out more cards at Christmas. But I am thinking we will send out VALENTINE'S day cards instead--because I love the excuse to send out fun mail (as much as I love getting it!) Just have to figure in the postage to do so.
So worth it? Absolutely! But you definitely have to financially plan ahead for it! (at least we do!)

I LOVE Christmas cards. I keep them each year an display that families oldest card I have with their newest card as well. It is fun to see how families change and grow over the years. Hope you got mine this year! Miss you guys.
