Strawberry fields

I love this time of year. It is so nice to have long sunny days. I also love that strawberries are ready to be picked.
We enjoyed picking berries so much last year that we decided to go again this year. Fresh picked fruit just taste so amazing! My favorite was how during our tractor ride to the fields you could just smell the strawberries!
We really had to work for our berries this year though. Things were just not working out for us. I stepped in some animal feces { I guess that's what you get when you go to a farm}, we forgot sunscreen for Sharlie, the first area we picked was pretty much cleaned out and picking berries with Cole strapped to me was quite an effort. Thankfully they opened up another area to pick so we ended up with a good amount of strawberries.
