Amish Country

Last weekend Beegh, myself and the Yetter's went to Amish country. It was just crazy to see it in person. So amazing how they use horses to get everywhere!

I can't believe how they hand make everything.
These rocking chairs were actually really comfortable.

Jamie loved the chairs so much that she bought Lyza her own little rocking chair, really cute!

Some more wood workings

We really wanted to ride in one of the buggies, but this is as close as we got. Maybe next time.

We didn't take any pictures, but we ate at Mary Yoders~ some great home cookin! We went on a holiday weekend so unfortunately all the homemade ice cream shops were closed, we had to settle for some homemade peach pie from Mary's. The pie was so so so DELICIOUS!

You both are adorable! I am still jealous you were able to transfer to another UoP. The closest one to me is 2 hours away. rrrgg! Anywho, Niagra sounds like so much fun. We are about 9 hours away. Not too bad. The weekend of November 3rd Luke has a By week, where they have no games. Its either that or after Thanksgiving for us. With Football and work its getting tough to plan anything!!
Lova ya!

I am so jealous of the fun you guys are having. I had 3 roomates from Ohio and they would always say how great it was. I always wanted to go there. You two are so cute and fun! Have a good time in Podiatry school!!!

You guys are aresome! That trip looks like your all had a ton of fun. I could never be Amish, I guess i'm too materialistic, because i don't think i could live w/out my car.

totally off subject from the amish farm (though it did look like fun), but I'm in a book club in our ward. Starting with last month here are the books we're reading: The Alchemist (amazing), Twilight, and The Memory Keeper's Daughter. I like all 3

I know what you mean about waiting for the 4th one. I didn't know there was going to be a fourth until I was done with New Moon. Had I known I might have waited for all of them to come out before I started!! I got your message about the halloween decorations too and I would love if you want to come and help. We'll plan on it. Here's my number so we can figure it out: 713.679.4677

What a fun trip. And all the boys look so great in their white coats!
You need to email me your address so I can add you to my blog. That way we won't feel like we're spying when we check yours!

Beegh--congrats on the white coat. And, I really mean congratulations! Wish we could've gone up there but that's the way it goes sometimes. Keep after that cadaver, better to learn on him. BTW, when are you going to post a picture of him?
