This is our trip to DC. Yes, after we drove all the way to Ohio we figured what the heck why not drive to D.C.(making the grand total of states we drove through 13) Being in the car for 6 hours was nothing now!

As you can see from the pictures we saw A LOT! The memorials,Capitol tour and Ford's theater were my favorite. Another one of my favorite things we did is not featured in the pictures. We went to the sculpture garden to listen to the Jazz concert. It was the best b/c right in the middle of the garden is this huge fountain that everyone sits around and soaks their feet in. Seriously I could not have asked for anything better after a day walking in the heat(oh and Courtney brought us pizza!)
It was just neat to be in DC because so much has happened there.Another cool part was seeing the Declaration of Independence,Magna Carta etc. Overall it was a really good trip.
I'm thankful that I live here in America!

where have you two not been?? Looks like so much fun. If you want to do more pictures on one slideshow, use slide.com. I am pretty sure you can use as many pictures as you want. Also...I am dying to see your apt. If you don't want to put pictures on your blog of it then email me some...Jamie told me it's adorable!!

Hey Mechams! This is Beegh's favorite neighbor, Erika. Congrats on podiatry school...too bad all my ingrowns have been permanently removed (six times, same toe to be exact)--I could have been great practice for you! Your DC trip looked like a party. Maybe I will make a trip east to visit Snorts, we'll rendezvous and I can finally meet the lovely Randee.
Hey BRandee. We hope our room is coming along because you only have two weeks to get ready for us! There is going to be one crazy party in Cleveland. Beegh, we heard you're a pretty good basketball player! Way to represent.
Looks so fun! That is something that JOhn and I want to do while we are so close! WHen does Beegh start school?
